Privacy

ss-5.in collects as little as it can to run the service and show link owners useful statistics.

When you create a link

We store the destination, the short code, the time it was created and a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse. Your recent links are listed in your own browser's storage, not on our servers.

When you click a link

We record the time, the website you came from, your country (when our network provider supplies it), and your device type, browser and operating system. IP addresses are never stored: we keep a daily, one-way hash so the owner can see approximate unique visitors. Clicks from known bots and link previews are not counted.

Who can see click data

Only someone holding a link's private stats address. We do not sell or share click data, and ss-5.in shows no advertising.

Cookies

ss-5.in sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your choices

To have a link or its data removed, or for any privacy question, email hello@shivasharma.co. This is handled in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the UK and EU GDPR and other applicable law.
